Hello everyone, we are back.
Strategic offensive weapons
Heavy bombers had some fun over High North, first some Tu-160s, and than B-2As. Well, Arctic is important, and also a source of vulnerabilities.
Also, a new regiment for newly-built Tu-160M might be activated at the Russian Far East.
In the meantime, reportedly, “everyone loves a bomber in the region”. Some people might argue the same about SSBNs, but I am not so sure.
Not much new on the ICBM front, although at the ARMY-2023 forum in Kubinka I’ve seen a Yars launcher, and also a booster for Avangard on its transporter-loader. Big beasts.
Also, I’ve almost completed a Special on Russian strategic nuclear forces, stay tuned for a release over autumn.
#hyperhype

This hypersonic stuff is much more fun:
Post-INF
Well, USMC made some news with their new uncrewed Tomahawk launcher.
Expect a STRATDELA Special soon!
Early Warning, Missile Defense, Space
Something sensitive has been launched from Plesetsk.
75th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Squadron - is the new household name for counterspace capabilities, let’s follow this unit closer.

More talk on ‘missile defeat’ will hardly make anyone safer.
Diplomacy
Prepcom was not a big success, obviously but I’ve been there. Still, people are talking.
For those interested - RCW people have everything covered.
Let’s wait for the new season starting this Autumn - especially given the Russian chairmanship in the P5.
